Internationally recognized trade fair experts, Messeforum Oy and Fennopromo Oy will organize the Finnish Country Pavilion at Foodex, Big Sight Exhibition Centre, Tokyo, Japan from 5 to 8 March 2024. They warmly welcome Finnish food and beverage companies to join the National Pavilion.
About FOODEX
FOODEX JAPAN is the Asia’s largest trade show dedicated to food and drink. Over 4 days, about 85,000 buyers from food service, distribution and trading companies are expected to attend the event. Finnish companies and brands have enjoyed great success at FOODEX in previous years.
About the Finnish Pavilion
As before, the Finnish Country Pavilion will provide a high quality platform for the exhibitors. The organizers also aim to secure an excellent location for the pavilion. Exhibitor spaces will be allocated in order of registration.
Registration
The registration will close on 17 October 2023. Please note our cancellation policy: the registration is binding and cannot be cancelled by the exhibitor. The participation fee will be invoiced after the registration and it will not be refunded should the exhibitor withdraw from participation. Please find attached: Appendix 1: Terms & Conditions for registration. Appendix 2: Conditions of Contract for Exhibition Attendance Packages. We reserve the right to changes.

The stand package fee and what it includes
Price: 14 900€ (not including VAT) (* The stand package includes:
Stand area.
Planning, construction and dismantling of the stand.
Graphic design and production.
Two full size stand partition walls for logo and marketing slogans.
Open shelves, negotiation table and chairs.
Showcase vitrine with bottom print.
Storage room space for warm and cold items.
Electricity, water, cleaning, some tasting cups and some dishes for product presentation.
Cold / freezer vitrine possible with additional cost.
TV screen possible with additional cost.
Company-specific devices will be invoiced separately, such as LCD screens, air fryers, microwaves, hot plates, etc., ordered by the exhibitor for its own use.
(* It is also possible to reserve a divided stand. The price of half a stand is 7450€ (not including VAT).
Please note, the price does not include freight or travel costs. Any
mandatory or voluntary marketing packages sold by the FOODEX trade fair organization are not included in the price of the booth space.

Exhibition Explorer funding
Business Finland offers funding for SME’s (turnover up to 50 Mio. €) and MIDCAP enterprises (turnover up to 300 Mio. €) for exhibitions. Exhibition Explorer grants are awarded to groups of at least four SMEs or at least 2 SME’s and 2 MIDCAP enterprises.
SME’s may receive support for 50 % and MIDCAP enterprises 40 % of the costs related to stand construction, stand rental and transport costs. Funding is discretionary. Whether a company receive the grant depends on if the conditions of the funding are met. If the Exhibition Explorer grant is awarded to a company, the stand package expenses can be only 7450 Euros for SME’s and 8940 Euros for MIDCAP companies.
If a company reserves a divided stand and the Exhibition Explorer grant is awarded to a company, the expenses are 3725 Euros for SME´s and 4470 Euros for MIDCAP companies.
To receive funding, at least four eligible applications to the same event are required. The companies in the group need to have a true desire to grow and internationalize their business. The evaluation process of the applications
starts when four applications have been submitted to and received by Business Finland.
