PLMA 2027 The Finnish Pavilion Exhibitor booking is now open – register today

SEAFOOD EXPO is the world’s largest seafood trade show. Messeforum Oy and Fennopromo Oy will organise the Finnish Pavilion at the event, which takes place at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via venue in Spain from 20 to 22 April 2027. Finnish seafood industry companies are warmly welcomed to join the National Pavilion.

SEAFOOD EXPO Global and Seafood Processing Global together form the world’s largest seafood trade show. Thousands of buyers and sellers from around the world attend this three-day annual event to meet, connect, and do business. Exhibitors showcase the latest innovations in seafood products, processing and packaging machinery, and services for the seafood industry. Attendees include importers, exporters, wholesalers, restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, and other businesses across the retail and foodservice sectors. SEAFOOD EXPO has proven to be a highly successful event for Finnish brands and companies.

About the Finnish Pavilion

As before, the Finnish Country Pavilion will provide a high-quality platform for the exhibitors. Exhibitor spaces will be allocated in order of registration.

Registration

Registration closes on 25 September 2026. Please note the cancellation policy: the registration is binding and cannot be cancelled by the exhibitor. The stand package fee will not be refunded should the exhibitor withdraw from participation. Please find attached: Appendix 1: Terms & Conditions for registration. Appendix 2: Conditions of Contract for Exhibition Attendance Packages. The organizers reserve the right to make changes.

The Fee and what it includes

Price: 13 600 € (excluding VAT) The stand package price includes:

Stand area.
Planning, construction and dismantling of the stand.
Graphic design and production.
Two full-size stand partition walls for logos and marketing slogans.
Open shelves, a negotiation table and chairs.
Showcase vitrine with bottom print.
Storage room space for both warm and cold items.
Electricity, water, cleaning, a selection of tasting cups and some dishes for product presentation.
On-site support.

Available with additional cost:

TV screen.
Cold / freezer vitrine.
Company-specific devices (air fryers, microwaves, hot plates, etc.), ordered by the exhibitor for its own use.

The applicable value added tax will be added to the price.
Please note that, the stand package price does not include freight or travel costs.

Exhibition Explorer funding

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Business Finland offer funding to SMEs with an annual turnover of up to EUR 50 million and mid-cap companies with an annual turnover of up to EUR 300 million to support participation in trade fairs. Exhibition Explorer grants are awarded to groups consisting of at least four SMEs, or at least two SMEs and two mid-cap companies. Please refer to the funding conditions updated on 25 September 2025, available on the Business Finland website.

SME’s and mid-cap companies may receive support up to 50 % funding for costs related to stand construction, stand rental and mandatory SEAFOOD EXPO participation fees. Please note, the funding is discretionary and not guaranteed. Eligibility and approval depend on whether the company meets the funding criteria. If the Exhibition Explorer grant is awarded to a company, the total cost of stand package may be reduced to approximately 6 800 € per company.

To qualify for funding, at least four eligible applications for the same event must be submitted. The evaluation process begins once the applications have been submitted to and received by Business Finland. A company applying for funding must demonstrate a clear ambition to grow and internationalize its business.
